Loft Insulation (RIR)

Oil Heating Decommissioning

It has come to our attention that many properties we are working on still have oil-fired boilers and oil tanks that are no longer in use. These unused tanks could potentially pose an environmental hazard in the event of an oil leak.

To address this, we offer a professional decommissioning service. This includes safely removing any surplus kerosene from the tank using a licensed hazardous waste carrier. We will then remove the tank, drain and cap all associated pipework to eliminate any future risk of contamination. Additionally, we will drain and remove the boiler using a certified oil boiler engineer.

If this service is of interest, we would be happy to provide a free survey and quotation for each property, assessing access requirements and the volume of surplus kerosene to be disposed of.
